Puppies offered from BluWind are full blooded, but unregistered. Though we do have one double registered collie, “papers” are not important to us. However, since we do love and appreciate the border collie with his/her characteristics of the breed, we have sought out full blooded collies when we have added to our family. In that way, it was more likely that though each collie would have his/her own endearing personality, we could be reasonably sure they would exhibit those qualities of the breed that also make them who they are.

More About Our Collies
The Collies who live with us are intelligent, affectionate, energetic members of our family. They strive to please and we strive to please them. Not being owners of a farm,where skills have been bred and perfected in their breed for centuries, we put our Collies to work in other ways. Going for frequent walks in the woods of western Wisconsin, playing any number of games, and some obedience training are all part of the usual daily routine here in this household. ( God has now blessed us with: GOATS! ) Though they all have those great characteristics that make them Borders, they each have their own winsome and unique personality. I would like to caution any prospective Border buyer to fully access the time and activities he/she will be able to devote to such a companion. For a Companion, the collie must be. It is essential to fill the mental and physical demands of such a friend. Our Collies live in the house with us and interact in our daily lives. Their house manners far exceed the manners of any other type/breed of canine friend we have had in the past. Of course they weren't born already knowing our rules, but with diligence and love were taught what we expected and they were quickly cooperative. Due to lack of time and skill it takes to create a super web site, I will not be including many links to other web sites, but it is easy to find a wealth of information using your own search.
